Flipper charging, but not connecting, via USB after firmware update

Hello,

Title says it all. After firmware upgrade to latest today, the flipper device can no longer connect to qFlipper.

[APP] qFlipper version 1.0.2 commit 9284d92a 2022-04-27T11:52:33
[APP] OS info: macOS 10.15 10.15 19.6.0

How do I debug and ultimately fix this?

Thanks,

-sl

Are you on Windows? If so, use this guide

Hey - no on OSX.

Can you please provide qFlipper logs?

Open qFlipper, connect your device via USB, then press the “LOGS” button. From there, there’s an “OPEN FULL LOG” link, which opens a text file. Please attach that text file.

I’m having the same issue on Kali linux. logs pasted below:

Hi, did you grant qFlipper the rights to access USB devices?

My friend borrowed my flipper and updated the firmware with a mac, now it is not detected on my debian linux pc when i type lsusb. I don’t have a windoze 10 pc to test on.

Ok thanks for the response LupusE, it turned out it was a broken cable.

I’m having the same problem with 3 different USB-C cables. I run Windows 10. I’ll update the firmware from my phone via Bluetooth for now, see if it helps.

Nevermind, I dug through the endless mass of cables in my room to find the original USB-C Cable flipper came with and it worked no problem.
