Does anyone knows what are the frequency range that flipper can transmit on with the latest version of the official firmware in Portugal ? Thanks.
I think it should be … R01: 433.05-434.79; 868.15-868.55
but i’m not sure if it changed with new firmware revision / region provision …
It’s currently the same ranges as for R01, but if you have a link to a government document that says it should be something else we’ll be happy to correct it
This is the Taiwan NCC website
https://www.ncc.gov.tw/chinese/news_detail.aspx?site_content_sn=538&sn_f=43414
There is a link at the bottom of the page to download the specification PDF file
低功率射頻器材技術規範全文 -1090813v2 - 加目錄.pdf (577.5 KB)
The frequencies in this table in the file are disabled. Currently ZERO I install the Taiwan update. But the frequency of disabling is not performed according to this table. For example: 915500000Hz is available, but Zero still shows region disabled.
The factory R2 version, the local frequency used in the United States is 304.1~321.95MHz; 433.05~434.79MHz; 915~928MHz. It can also be used by Taiwan, which is correct.
However, Taiwan got the R3 version, and even if you re-download the Taiwan update file, the wrong restrictions are still applied.
I think it’s good for now … It’s good for all parts, you guys can sell flipper without any problem as are inside legal frequency and people who needs something more can as well be happy by using modded firmware so at the end all people will end up happy.
And for most users those frequency ranges will cover the majority of consummer commands/garage remotes, etc in Europe so it’s a good decision to use this sort of restriction method. Thanks.
