cc1120 would be very interesting due to I/q mode on the transciever. would make it an instant purchase for me as a ham. really interested in it but without working I/q mode the radio module doesn’t do anything for me. thanks.

What are other advantages to cc1120 ?
@TigPT generally the large ones are:
- operation in upper vhf (170mhz+)
- i/q inputs would allow (for a CPU time cost) you to modulate arbitrary signals, thus allowing you to work with signals that have PHY layers that the chip doesn’t support natively.
- fewer hardware bugs
