Is it not now also possible to use the USB C port on the iPhone for data transfer to the pinball? Would replace the slow Bluetooth.

The data transfer is limited to roundabout 300kbps by the SPI interface to the SD Card. Not by the connection to the phone.
But no, I don’t think USB-C to mobile is implemented by now.
