It has sound, so maybe we could have an app to make DTMF or other telecoms tones, for nostalgia sake

Lovely! Even the Blue and Red Boxes are included. I see the screens and a message indicating tones are being played… but no tones come forth. The music player works so I wonder what is up. Volume is set to 100% which may not be loud enough for actual use. Any ideas?
Have you figured it out yet? Mine doesn’t play any sound either.
Not yet. Lots of layers for a newby to traverse. I am looking at debug capabilities now.
I would suggest finding anyone that has it working to verify software versions.
I’d love to help debug the app, because I’m on analyzing another app at the moment. But the ‘DTMF Dolphin’ works fine, for me.
Just open, select any Menüoption, select an item → acoustic beep.
Where do you set the volume? Setting → LCD Notification → Volume: 0% here (I don’t like sounds).
How did you compiled/installed it?
Looks like there is a problem with the latest versions of the official firmware and apps using sound … it’s a known issue. If you use non-official firmware (the u… one) all will be fine … This also affects other apps that use sound …
