Eltek (GD-10) dataloggers:

My working place is full of those GD-10 devices…

It would be GREAT to have flipper intercept the packets from the device and show the ID of the device + log of temperature/humidity. Packets don’t apear to be encrypted.

Problems :

  • I don’t have access to the software of the devices
  • I don’t know when the device to trasmit (should be from 5 to 5 min.)
  • I don’t know the modulation.

I think that i can try the ClusterM frequency analyzer to see when the data logger is sending the packates and wait the same time to get some recording…

I know the exact frequency, and the devices can’t be pooled by the system, the send the data by themselfs.

Packets should have crc but can be sent and there can be repeaters on the system to expand the range.

Objective would be to decode the packet and be able to spoof the packets so one could “trick” the system by sending spoofed temperature/humidity values on a specific sensor ID.

System wouldn’t check as it just captures the data that the sensor send.

Problem will be to get a correct reading without pocketing out $500 to buy one of those devices to play with …

interesting request, I don’t know anything, but do it well. I did such technical tasks, and perhaps enough is enough for me, I will not take on this protocol.

Hopefully someone will be able to take a look at this at some point in the future … It would be nice to have this implemented on flipper.

If someone cares … Some samples :
