Firmware Update Error: Manifest folder not found

Hello,

i tried to update my flipper zero. At 100% there is a error message: Manifest folder not found. It looks like

[UTL] Start Update @Apt1nk ERROR: Manifest folder not found
[DEV] Full Update @Apt1nk ERROR: Manifest folder not found

I red in some threads here to try a new SD card. I did it, no changes. I delete the update folder and the manifest file, no changes. I formatted the SD card and start update again, same problem, no changes. What can i do? I am going crazy!

Maybe somebody can help me to solve the problem.

First I recommend you hard reboot your Flipper. That can solve a lot of issues.

LEFT +BACK hardware restarts the processor and performs a normal reboot. Even when the operating system does not respond, the hardware restart will still work.

Which tool are you using to update your Flipper?
Are you updating to an official firmware version?
How are you formatting the SD card?
What is the brand and size of the SD card?
Is your Flipper fully charged?

Go over the post marked “Solution” and try the reset. Then try the update again.
Have a look at this page.

Next check out recovery mode.

If that doesn’t work start a new post and be very detailed about:

  • What your problem is.
  • What you have tried
  • Which tool are you using to update your Flipper?
  • Are you updating to an official firmware version?
  • How are you formatting the SD card?
  • What is the brand and size of the SD card?
  • Is your Flipper fully charged?
