Hey all I’m new to all this I’ve updated my fipper ,but in the description it says it comes with built in it remotes for various things , and there’s nothing there no databases on anything is this normal ?

There’s an onboard universal remote that blasts hundreds(thousands?) of ir codes. So for example you hit the "power ", it blasts every known ir power code one at a time. Took about a minute to turn off the Vizio’s at a local restaurant.
If you want a specific one, you can read/save/emulate it if you have access to the physical remote.
If you want a specific/larger database, GitHub is the answer.
Did you update your firmware yet? If so you should have files for Universal remotes. You may also want to check this out.
