Hardware difference between R0*

Which are the hardware difference between the 4 versions R01, R02, R03 and R04?
If a day I move in another area can I use the same device or I need buy new one?
Is it just a settings in firmware or there is an hardware change in it?

it’s region but as far as i can’t remember it’s outdated and doesn’t matter anymore as the firmware you download will be dictated by region instead

HARDWARE is the same. OTP (one time programming) have region saved on it.

There is NO R0. R0 is for something that we can’t talk here.

Allowed to transmit (MHz):
R01: 433.05-434.79; 868.15-868.55
R02: 304.10-321.95; 433.05-434.79; 915.00-928.00
R03: 312.00-315.25; 920.50-923.50

Shipped to:
R01: EU, UK, RU, UA, BY, BA, PF, VA, IS, KZ, LI, MD, MK, NO, RS, CH, TR
R02: US, CA, AU, NZ, MX, BR, CL, AR, UM
R03: rest of the world

New firmware detect where you are and set region accordingly or bypass it to add/remove frequency that you can use according to local law but if that is not available default setting for region is used.

R0 is for firmware that don’t use limitations … meaning unlocked.

Mine shows R04 - which region is this? Because my NFC doesn’t emulate. I think it’s because of the region.
