Help ID'ing access card type

Good afternoon. I’m trying to ID this old access card. The manufacturer is out of business and the owner would like to make new cards yet not much is known about the system (legacy setup).

I tried to read it but it does not appear to be an NFC or an RFID card (no antenna?)

Anyone here seen anything like this before? Some type of Wiegland card maybe? Or optical?

Thanks for any input

It seems to be glued to a glass on the photo?
Most of the automobile passes are active or passive UHF tags, out of Flipper’s reach.

It’s a plastic card, shined a flashlight through it. Not for automobiles either. It’s a door access card, put it into a slot and it unlocks.

Guessing the reader shines a light through it and looks for the squares? It’s old tech, dont know much about it.

Possible but unlikely. You can test it, BTW, by making a card from paper and gluing plastic squares.
Wiegand or pure magnetic is more plausible. Testable with dust of iron or other ferromagnetic.
