when i try and connect my flipper to the android mobile app, its says outdated firmware.
But when i connect it to my laptop it says there are no new updates
please help
It would be helpful to know what version is installed. And what new version is shown on mobile app and on laptop.
My first guess was the App or qFlipper could be outdated.
In general the Flipper software goes to https://update.flipperzero.one/firmware/directory.json and check for version. If the firewall is blocking this URL, it can’t check for updates. If qFlipper is outdated, there is maybe the wrong URL called.

Depending on phone some androids configuration are also known for having some crippled application cache left on the phone that can cause weird application issues, just to be sure uninstall/clear cache for mobile app and reinstall it to be sure it is not a local issue on the phone. For the rest, solution above
