My flipper zero won't pick up the signals from my mx990i. Could explain why not?

I tried using sub-gig and infared but it won’t pick up the signal. Please help.

Make sure the remote is actually transmitting on IR. If it’s using the RF mode the IR signal will only come out of the base. Give me the FCC ID and I may be able to give you the actual frequency to check for RF.

To see if the remote is using IR use you phone camera to view the remote while pressing the buttons. You should see the pulses.

I’ve wondered about this remote, and those like it. They’re both IR/RF, and act sort of like a very universal remote. Right? Is it already programmed with something?
