So I am trying to program a couple buttons from my Comcast remote like Xfinity or Guide. Other button get read right away but these 2 so far do not scan to device. Is this me or some limit of the FZ? I got the full infra list from a Gitlab repository. .

There are some remotes which generally work over IR, but may use 2.4 GHz radio for specific functions. I know Roku and Samsung to behave that way.

If the the remote does both IR and BT sometimes unplugging the device causes the remote to fall back to IR. The best way to determine whether the remote is sending out IR is to turn the lights down and point your phone camera at the remote. IR isn’t visible to the human eye but most phone cameras pick it up. With the camera app active you should see the pulses.
