RQ. Subghz geo attack

Hello,

I have an idea for an application or plugin. When a flipper is connected to a phone via Bluetooth, it can utilize the phone’s GPS position data. It can search for and decode specific codes, then request the phone’s location information and save the *.sub files with included geolocation data. Assuming that if I can hear them, they can hear me, we can use a plugin to create and play the sub-gigahertz playlist with all the recorded signals around my location.

GPS broadcast on at least two carrier frequencies: L1, at 1575.42 MHz, and L2, at 1227.6 MHz (newer satellites also broadcast on L5 at 1176 MHz). Do not fit within the specification of subghz. GPS is not the most secure setup but for the FZ you would need to add some featers with the GPIO plugin options, the subghz features will not work on these frequencies.

Would be a great addition! Or without a phone, but gps module connected to gpio could do the same.

yeah just keep in mind that jerking around with gps and transmitting is against the law on most places where people are cause , obvious reasons. so even if you can TX on the band, even being it below 1w of power, you still could find yourself in a whole lot of trouble, where it will be considered jamming or worse, so. Even if you can do a lot of things with simple communication on certain bands, it does not mean its a good idea to try to do it even on low power.

For me the first part would be good, if the saved files would contain the gps coordinates of the capture.

But if you got a big OWN place, with some subghz doors, the tx would make sense too. If i’m near my gate, it would open it, …
But that could hurt more, so an RX only gps tagging would be the best.
