Does the device go to sleep when not in use? Mine seems to stay awake indefinitely (although the screen brightness eventually dims).
It looks like there’s work under way to add a deeper sleep/low power mode:
For now, I don’t think the Flipper goes into any lower power mode than just turning off the screen backlight.
If you want to conserve battery for longer, you can go into Settings 
Power Power OFF, then press the right arrow to confirm.
To wake up, press and hold the back button for 3 seconds (same as when the Flipper was unboxed).
