Does seem like they’re redesigning the case? Or is this an add-on? Or is it just a potential mockup of what can be done by the community?

It appears to be a redesign to incorporate some of the mentioned features and functions here, or possibly a clip-on accessory. We’ll just have to wait on that!

I suspect it’s a design for a clip-on / expansion case (not a new casing for the device) because It shows things plugged into the gpio.
And it would be odd to do a redesign this far into the campaign, I only hope the clip-on won’t be expansive…

I think the ant is referring to ANT+. The wireless comms used by a lot of heart rate monitors, speed and cadence sensors (and more) in sports.
