Sadly no, the FAP files are built against a specific API version, and unofficial fork authors have decided to do their own thing with API versioning and included features, breaking compatibility.
Apps are only compatible from the 2 major non-official firmware branches (one to the otrher) but are not compatible with official and you can’t use apps compiled for official firmware on the non-official as well because of what was already explained by @Astra.
